73. What do you think makes your writing stand out from other works?

I think I format things a little differently on ao3 than what i've seen in other fics? me and my doublespaces. sorry if this makes them harder to read it actually makes it easier for me to read with my visual processing

for actual CONTENT... idk i think i have the tendency to take things that are extremely high concepts that veer into crackfic territory and ground them in reality as best i can. but i think it feels more real because i deal a lot in slow boils and longfics, so i take lots of time on atmosphere before immediately coming out with things like "siffrin is a literal star banished from the sky by the universe"

also i think i'm really strong at romance writing especially but that's neither here nor there

65. Tell us about what you’re most looking forward to writing – in your current project, or a future project

i actually just noticed you left a comment on my seizure-induced post about my future 20 years later fic and it reminded me that i'm so on my high horse about how i named the isafrin fankids i made up for it. you know how siffrin's name is sisyphus but id5 mangled it into siffrin? i did that with all of the isafrin fankid names. took greek mythology heroes and mangled the names. theseus -> thessan and aeneas -> aeney

anyway they're fun to write and i keep writing about them as a treat when i need it :3 they're both forgotten island castaways that washed up on shore as toddlers so they couldn't just learn vaugardian and move on, and everyone in bambouche was like "hey siffrin can you take care of these kids since you're from the same country" and he panicked for a full month before saying yes

45. Do you want to break your readers‘ heart or make them laugh?

por que no los dos? can't i do both? sometimes i do it at the same time, even. i do want to END with them laughing though i don't give hits without a comfort at the end

26. Which of your fics would you call your wildest ride?

um. :)

it's a tie between inutile and four eyes (curtain call is SO MILD) but they're wild rides in different ways. inutile is like a proper steel roller coaster where you can see what the next drop is going to be if you look ahead. four eyes is a 50 year old wooden legacy coaster that you wonder if it's stable enough to ride on safely the whole time you're on it. (in case you were wondering, the 20 years later fic is like a teacup ride that you get sick on in between breaks and curtain call is a log ride that has lots of drops but you can still take your nephew on it without scaring the shit out of him)

20. Have you noticed any patterns in your fics? Words/expressions that appear a lot, themes, common settings, etc?

when i write in the second person i am so guilty of "you feel yourself/you see yourself/she seemed/she looks" like i need to stop that... however i don't make multiple drafts of fanfiction, i do it a lot less in Fully Original Edited Works

my friends that know me outside of isat would say my biggest writing theme is clones and duplicates and doppelgangers so. [sweats]

isat is lacking in some of my other writing themes which how blood family interacts with found family but [looks at four eyes and starts sweating again] aw beans i didn't realize i was doing that there until now

meet anastasia "stasia" pines! she's from a universe where ford shot stan w a crossbow and then frankenstein'd him back to life. we've all see those. after he comes back to life, stan and ford start to travel the world, we know thiford got REALLY into the whole "creating life" thing which ultimately culminated in him frankensteining him and his brusband's daughter!

considering ford was creating a Whole New Entity instead of reviving a specific person, this resulted in some neat side effects:

dead people stuff! sure, yeah, she's got the regular zombie stuff, but she's got some Fun Extra Stuff too. her hair's red bc when you die your hair gets red, she has some pretty bad cataracts bc that's what happens to your eyes when you die.... etc

alien limb syndrome: paranormal edition! when stan was revived, his soul ended up taking over all the dead people that were attached to him, because he already had an established identity. anastasia didn't, so her soul kinda... grew around them? so, now, sometimes her limbs just Do Stuff. she can talk to spirits and shit it's awesome

gills! not a dead person thing, just ford committing crimes against god. they do live on a boat that's understandable

stasia's a cool gal. she's pretty deadpan, but not in the way sylvan is, she's more like... dave strider. she's deadpan bc it's funniest. though she is VERY ENTHUSIASTIC ABOUT DEATH! to a concerning extent! she doesn't just accept death as a part of life, she actively thinks death is a good thing, and if she didn't have strong feelings on being in charge of your own body while you're alive (ironic, i know), she'd probably be a serial killer. unfortunately, most people don't want to die.

the only person with more hubris than ford is his daughter. she has a fascination with Forbidden Science -- actually, she hates the idea that anything's Forbidden at all! considering her dad's portal project he shut down bc of the dangers, i'm sure this will end up having Zero Consequences in the long term.

also, stasia likes fashion. didn't know where to put this so i'm putting it here.

she's very, VERY stubborn. she gets her mind set on something, and she Locks The Fuck In. doesn't matter what it is. she's also a risktaker -- she's already dead, she doesn't care.

also stasia legally doesn't exist she has 0 legal papers she is 100% off the grid and she LIKES THAT

Listen, since some people think/hc that Night Swan could have produced Jack asexually, then why can't Wanderlust (also to be safe with Wanderrose just in case)

I'm thinking maybe Wanderlust even created his kid the same way The Traveler created Discoball (i'm pretty sure it's confirmed he created Discoball)

He's very similar to Wanderlust (as well as appearance wise, i'm thinking he has long hair like Wanderlust at first, but he later cut it off due to an unpleasant encounter), but he knows which kind of people he should trust (also when to bail when something goes wrong)

He can be a bit dense and not being able to understand basic emotions that well (since the whole “being created similar to Discoball” might have had a part of that/not being really an alien, also, i see him as kinda being like Caine from TADC), but just like Wanderlust, he just wants the best for everyone

Daehyun is a kpop idol of a new boy group, but due to getting criticize on his dance moves by other idols and his company's boss, he got Just Dance in order to practice his dance moves and improve

This caught Faer's attention so he decided to help Daehyun improve his dance moves (i say that and the next second, their both idk fighting bad guys, something Daehyun did not sign up for)

(i imagine their relationship to be like Guy & Molotov Girl from Free Guy if anyone seen the movie)

Unlike Sara, who was excited about being in the game, Daehyun was just very confused and non trusting about everything, so he thought Faer was just some very weird guy that acts like everything is just fine and normal in the Danceverses

Like, Daehyun would be like: Wtf, i had the weirdest dream last night i-

Faer: Oh! That must have been Cthylla!

Daehyun: what-

Faer: Oh she's just a demon that goes into people's dreams from time to time and messes with them!

Daehyun: Jee, that makes so much sense, I feel a lot safer, thanks Faer.

Some SMG4 fankids

Oughhh… okay so, weeks ago I made the video that was like a… sorta of introduction to the smg34 fankids, Suzy and Ivy. And after that I decided to make the designs for other fankids and here were are

Lets me introduce you to the crew (keep in mind, some designs are subject to changes)

With the exception of Suzy, Ivy, Bobby and Gemma (which Gemma is an “oc” (in quotes because she is a gerudo)), the rest are adopted

there is particular reason for that? uhh… kinda? It’s different depending of the character. Example. I don’t visualize Boopkins with a girlfriend, so yeah, had your fish adopted daughter pal

Now, Suzy, Ivy and Bobby were created with meme energy, and for the twins I actually had an comic idea, I just need to figure out some stuff and then it’s so over

Also! This is not everyone, and not speaking about “canon children” like Eggdog, Beeg or others, I’m talking about my kids. At the moment, there are four with not design and other one which gonna make their appearance in a few days, so yeah, a total of five (unless i ended up making more which is not my plan hahaha)

I wish I could rambling more, but this is not the post for that, I would like to do an individual post for each one and talking about they process design, some curiosities and more, that kind of stuff

The brain bees are making me think about my hosie/final fantasy 14 AU and will not leave me (literally started writing this post at 4am but stopped because it was almost 5am but now I've come to finish this post at an appropriate time in the late afternoon)

Okay. So I've had a lot to think about in terms of what Jobs Hope, Josie, and their kids would have and despite my very first post saying otherwise, I've come to a new conclusion:

Hope Mikaelson, our favourite Tribrid, would have these Jobs in this exact order:

Dragoon (no Tribrid reasoning tbh. Dragoons are just fucking hot ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ although one could argue it would fit her werewolf side)

Red Mage (there IS a Tribrid reasoning for this. Red Mages use magic, so that's a no brainer for Hope's witch side. But apart from magic casting, they also fight with rapiers, and I thought that was a cool little touch. Plus, it reminds me a lot of the blood sword we saw Hope use in the show. Not to mention Red Mage--like Dragoons--have some very fanciful moves that made me think of Hope as well. Very fitting.)

Dark Knight (another with Tribrid reasoning. I haven't actually gotten to Heaven's Ward expansion pack to unlock this Job or its Job Quest so all the information of Dark Knight are from videos I've seen. But the Job is perfect for Hope's vampires side as Dark Knight has this blood guage or something which was so fitting. And the lore behind this Job apparently goes super fucking hard lol. And edgy and broody, which is even more perfect for our resident Tribrid!)

For our lovely and favourite brunette siphoner, Josie Saltzman, here are the Jobs she would have in this order:

Black Mage (this felt like a no-brainer Job for her to have. Especially because this class focuses a lot with switching between your Blizzard spells and Fire spells. And we all know Josie is secretly a pyromaniac (lol I jest). So for her, Black Mage is perfect)

Blue Mage (this is another no-brainer and fits in theme with her Siphoner witch abilities. Blue Mages are able to copy the moves they've seen from their enemies, now sure this may not seem very Siphoner themed, but I assure you, it's sort of parallel to it. Siphoners are able to use magic if they siphon/take magic from someone or something magical right? Blue Mage is sort of like that in which they acquire spells of enemy moves to add to their arsenal of magic. So it makes sense in my book)

Honourable mention for Josie before I move on is the Bard Job. I felt like this Job would suit Josie nice because Bards have music stuff and I thought that fit. Though I don't quite remember if Josie being into or dabbling in music was canon or a fan fanon thing. Now, with the next Expansion Dawntrail coming out summer, I have been made aware that there are a few other Jobs that will be included in the pack--new jobs too (Viper being one of them but I'll get to that Job later). So it's possible that I will update this list for Josie once more when we get news of the rest of the new Jobs.

Moving onto my very precious Hosie Fankids!

Lana Mikaelson, she, like her mom Hope, is a Tribrid as well! So this will be pretty much the same except for one additional Job:

Dragoon (same reasoning as Hope)

Red Mage (originally I didn't think of Lana taking Red Mage, but when I realized Stormblood Expansion pack is now included in standard edition and free trial permanently, I had to try out Red Mage. And then I realized Red Mage is a perfect fit for Lana for the same reasons I gave in Hope's section)

Dark Knight (same reasoning as Hope)

Viper (this is one of the new Jobs that will be included in Dawntrail expansion and I am so excited. What information we have are from things that had been showcased already, with gameplay footage you could find on YouTube. But I chose this Job for Lana is because I'm a simple pal and loved the aesthetic. But also because YOU FIGHT WITH DUOBLADES THAT CAN THEN BE CONNECTED INTO ONE DOUBLE SIDED BLADE HOW COOL IS THAT PLUS it also fits well with a certain event and scene that I have plans for when it's time to write about Lana's adventures in my future kid fic series So I Swear That I'll Protect It. It was too good of an opportunity to pass up)

Hayley Mikaelson. The werewolf of the kids and one of Hosie's twins! I love Hayley she's the best:

Monk (felt this Job was fitting for her werewolf side. She's a heavy hitter, packs a mean punch, and werewolves sorta rely on that, most of the time I'm assuming. Sorry it's been a while since I've watched the series haha. But for Hayley, despite her werewolf side, I felt like Monk was the perfect fit!)

Rogue (now, I've already written up an in depth reasoning for picking this starting class here. But I'll paraphrase here anyways. I thought it might also be jnteresting to have Hayley, not only be a charge in type of girl, but also someone who knew how to be sneaky and use her cunning. She would have been taught to try out different battle tactics so she wouldn't just rely on her base instincts. The reason this is a starting class is because the next 'evolution' I guess is the Ninja Job, which I'm not sure if I want her to take. It's also very jarring to have a pirate-esque western-y feel and then evolve to something very Japanese-theme, but that's just me. Plus Jay is the anime weeb in the family lol

So literally after writing this post the other day I logged in to play as Hayley and ended up having her pick up the Marauder class so she can actually become Warrior haha

Warrior (like I've mentioned before, Hayley's fighting style is very rush in guns-a-blazing. She will do whatever it takes to have the focus on her so her friends or siblings/family can get the jump on the enemies without fear of getting targetted themselves. Which is absolutely fitting as a Tank role because Tanks pull mobs and enemies, they make sure all mobs and enemies are focusing on THEM while the rest of the party does their job without fear of being targetted. And I specifically chose Warrior as the Job for Hayley is because out of the four Tank Jobs: Paladin, Warrior, Dark Knight, and Gunbraker, I felt like Warrior fit better for Hayley in terms of her role and personality)

Reaper (I was writing this post about how to incorporate Hayley and Leo's TVDU backstory abilities into FFXIV AU and now I can't unsee Reaper being an excellent fit for Hayley because my hc is that Hayley is a werewolf yes, but she also has vampire blood running in her--courtesy of her Tribrid Mom) [RPR Job point added Feb 1, 2024]

Honourable mentions for other Jobs Hayley might take up. I have been humouring the idea of her taking on one of the four Tank Jobs (Paladin, Warrior, Dark Knight, and Gunbreaker), but I truly am unsure which of the Tank Jobs would be best suited for her. I mentioned previously that she's quite a "charge in head first" type, and that's usually what the Tank Jobs do where they pull enemies away from the party members so the party can do their thing. And I think Hayley is very much like that. Maybe Paladin or Warrior would be the two I could see for Hayley because iirc, in one of the intermission chapters for my very first Hosie fic Sad Bedroom Eyes, she was playing D&D and had chosen--nope never mind I just checked I had her pick the Monk class. Welp, that doesn't help me lol. I'll think more on this and then decide. Either that or wait to see what the new Jobs are for Dawntrail (I mean I guess Viper could also fit. And it would be nicely aligned with Rogue. We'll see though).

Also with her picking up a Tank job, I think Hosie would have very different outlooks and opinions on it. Hope--since Dark Knight is also a Tank--would be proud of Hayley and would probably help her fit into her role as a Tank until her daughter feels more confident and comfortable. As opposed to Josie who would be fretting about Hayley having to be the one to pull enemies and have all the attacks be aimed at her. I also think if the entire family goes do dungeons, Hope and Hayley would both be Tanks, Hope being main Tank and Hayley being off Tank at first--but I think they'll switch roles so that Hayley will get a chance to be main Tank. I think that would be really fun and really sweet bonding moment for the Hosie family.

Jay Mikaelson, the loveable goofball, twin to Hayley, big time anime weeb, and Siphoner. He will also have similar Jobs like his momma Josie, all except one additional Job:

Black Mage (same reasoning as Josie)

Blue Mage (same reasoning as Josie)

Dancer (in my fic So I Swear That I'll Protect It, Jay has taken dance classes and gymnastics and uses those moves to incorporate into his fighting in addition to his magic. It took me an embarrassingly long time to remember this information and only popped up when I was writing chapter 15 of We're Reckless And In Danger--second installment in SISTIPI series--so I quickly added this Job to Jay's list! And it's just so perfect for him)

Leo Mikaelson, the adopted son, youngest Mikaelson kid, and the ONLY HUMAN in a family of supernaturals. The kid's got his work cut out for him:

Scholar (I felt like this class was fitting for Leo since he wishes to learn all that he can about magic in order to relate more to his three older siblings. Of course Hayley is just a werewolf and does not have magic, but the sentiment is still there. And Scholars have a faerie that pretty much helps with buffs and heals and I think that's also nice for Leo. I see him as someone who's very friendly towards lots of creatures. And since Scholar is a Healing Job, I think it also works even more with Leo's need to want to support his siblings/family and help them out when he can.)

Bard (so I also wrote an in-depth reasoning for Leo taking up this class as well here, but I'll paraphrase. Asides from learning potions that do not require actual magic abilities, I think he'd also want to learn how to help protect his family and contribute a bit more. So he'd go to grandpa Alaric and ask for him to teach him how to fight with weapons. Obviously Hope and Josie were against that because Leo's too young to fight with weapons, but Alaric just teaches him archery--which works because Bards uses bows as their weapon. Another reason why I chose Bard is because in my first Hosie fic Sad Bedroom Eyes, I think I had Leo be really into theatre and performing arts, and Bards traditionally are performers, and in the game, they can play music. So that's why Bard is perfect for Leo!)

Summoner (in the game, Scholar and Summoners are Jobs that branched out of the Arcanist class. Summoners basically summon little versions of Ifrit, Garuda, and Titan to help fight them along with the Carbuncle. Oh, the Carbuncle is like a cute little fox creature anyways the Carbuncle turns into either Ifrit, Garuda, or Titan depending on the button you press anyways--like I said in Scholar, Leo would be out there befriending all the creatures like a tiny Snow White or Cinderella)

Astrologian (I mentioned how this is a great Job for Leo but never elaborated so now's my chance haha. Astrologian is also a Healing Job but they use tarot cards--which I thought would be excellent for Leo because it just connects back to Leo's wish to learn all that he can about magic. I'd like to think Freya teaches Leo how to read tarot and he's become very good at it)

Machinist (I think Machinist would be nice for Leo as well. The way I headcanon it, Leo would make potions and would somehow incorporate those into his fighting style. He'd probably tinker with things and build some sort of contraption or whatever. And Machinist are kind of like that--I mean they use guns in the game and I don't think Leo would actually use guns, but again, the sentiment is still there. The lore for this Job is that Machinist sort of follow the footsteps of Cid Garlond, a man who's great with utilizing magitek. So Machinist uses the knowledge that they know and turns it into something they can use in battle. And I think Leo would definitely--again--be creating trinkets of sorts to help his siblings/family that also incorporate the magic element)

White Mage (listen. Leo is a precious sunshine boi with a big imagination. Also White Mage are pure healers so that fits right up Leo's whole "i want to protect my family and make sure they're safe" and the fact that he is, in fact, the only damn healer in the goddamn family lmao. ALSO YOU GET A UNICORN WHEN YOU PLAY THIS JOB. OBVIOUSLY I'M GOING TO HAVE LEO PICK THIS JOB UP ARE YOU KIDDINGGGGG) [WHM Job point added Feb 14, 2024]

Wow I think that's about it for what Jobs Hosie and my Hosie Fankids would take up. Leo's ended up getting a lot more Jobs compared to the others, but I think it also makes sense considering how Leo is so eager to keep up pace with his supernatural family since he's the only human/non-supernatural.

Of course, maybe this list will get updated once the rest of the new Jobs for the Dawntrail expansion pack gets revealed, but until that happens...

Sorry it took a bit, but here’s Bubble Tea Cookie

I was trying to think of something that could fit both Carrow and Cherry Blossom, and I remembered, “hey, doesn’t Caramel Arrow like boba?” and I knew caramel was a flavor of boba, so I looked if cherry blossoms were in boba, and sure enough, there was Sakura milk tea. So, I decided to just make this one boba tea, though I chose Bubble Tea instead just to make it more vague

I think one idea I had was to name her after another flavor of boba, like taro, but considering I know nothing about boba, I though maybe I should just stick with being vague

I probably don’t need to, but boba/bubble tea (also I used the in game boba as a reference too):

So with her design, I knew one thing I wanted to do was put a pearl pattern on the bottom of her outfit, to make it look like boba. I tried to make her design sort of resemble boba tea, with the bottom being the boba and the top being the cap, if that makes sense. I added in the pink to represent the straw, and also to give some Cherry Blossom to her design, she’s kind of predominantly Carrow. I was thinking about giving her a Watcher outfit, but I decided against it so she doesn’t seem too much like Caramel Arrow. But I mean, I think she looks distinct enough from both of them. Also I gave her the gradient at the bottom since boba seems to usually look darker at the bottom, likely because of the pearls

So as for Bubble Tea Cookie herself, the main thing I really have is that she’s a bomber, because I had the idea of “what if she uses the tapioca pearls likes bombs?” since I know the pearls are chewable. I guess she gets it from her aunt Cherry, who she’s probably close with(also side note, the concept of Cherry being an aunt feels so odd since she’s a kid. Now I’m curious what an older Cherry Cookie would look like). I wasn’t really sure how to make the pearls into bombs, other than giving them little stems, but since tapioca pearls don’t have that, I feel like it looks a bit off

I don’t know if she’s a Watcher or not. I mean she’s probably a fighter in some regard, but I, not so sure she’s a soldier

What else can I say about her…well I imagine she’s probably like a connoisseur of boba, having extensive knowledge of all the flavors

OC/Fan Creation Contest

Hey everyone! I'm having a contest for both Twitter and Tumblr for follower milestones- 400 for Twitter, 300 for Tumblr. (Also for getting up to 50 chapters for OT!) Prize information and further rules under the cut.

There are two types of entries for more creative potential, but the gist is simple: Either create something with one (or more) of my ocs interacting with one of yours, or create something based off of one of my fics or aus.

(If I get three or less entries for either 'type', I'll judge them all as one contest, but if I get four or more for each type, there will be two winners.)

Both winners will get a $10 Sharkrobot gift card, although you do have to be comfortable giving me your email address as that's how it's sent out.

For the OC interactions, I'll create a companion piece to go along with the scenario presented, (like this) or another writing request if you'd prefer. The OC has to have an established personality and general description for this option, not just a pretty face, although I do enjoy looking at pretty faces.

The 'Fanart/Fic for Fic' prize will also be a writing request. General writing requests will be 2-3k, OC companion pieces may be a bit shorter as I won't know the character as well.

Without further delay here’s the rough layout for our Entrapdak Zine:

I forgot to share earlier that I compile the Viewtiful Joe Fanzine every year, I will be adapting VJ Zine’s Issue 4 layout which I think is nice and clear with full credit for everyone who makes a Submission for this Zine.

Theme:

Keeping in the spirit of Entrapdak the theme if you wish to use it is:

“Imperfectly Perfect”

This theme is a suggestion so if you’d rather make an Entrapdak piece without this them please feel free to do so.  I want you to have fun!

Allowed Characters:

As long as both Entrapta and Hordak are the main focus and the piece follows Age Rating it will be allowed.

Other allowed characters in the Entrapdak family include Emily, Imp and the Clones (also known as Spacebats)...yes weirdly this also  includes Horde Prime.

Other She-Ra characters will be allowed but Entrapdak is to be the core element.

Okay so Submissions! What’s sort of stuff is allowed?

I’m glad you like them! I’m not too active in the Hellsing fandom anymore but you never know. I might make a comeback.

So Aileen wasn’t actually WITH Alucard when he turned Seras. He brought her back like he’d found a puppy and she didn’t question it. But Aileen WAS there to help comfort/mentor Seras and explain things that Alucard wouldn’t, see as her husband’s teaching style is more like “throw her in the pool, she’ll learn how to swim if she wants to survive”. By the end of the 30 year timeskip Ally and Seras have a mother/daughter relationship and they’re much closer than before.

The idea of Dadcard makes me go “eeee” and I did have some fankids back in 2021, but as I’m doing some occasional rewrites, I don’t think I want them to have kids anymore. Being a vampire doesn’t automatically erase the want for a family, but these two seem like they like the idea of kids more than they want the reality of kids. They’re fine at managing children and keeping them entertained, but long-term parenting just isn’t for them. They just strike me more as a couple who’d just fine with being by themselves. Maybe with a few familiars pets.

Jaime. The rogue of the group. Long stint in the southwest, and Route 66 is probably my number one pick for "Which Overwatch Map I'd Smoke Weed On."

After Jaime... probably Aedan--I did give him botany as an interest and he listens to a lot of 70's rock and roll, after all--but I don't see him making a habit of it. The nanites probably give him Perma-virgin lungs.

Rei would have really good tolerance because of all the biotics in her body but 1. Weed Is Not The Ninja Way and 2. When you have a higher tolerance then you end up smoking more and I dunno, I don't really see her doing that. Actually I can see her smoking weed with the Shambali in Nepal but it would be more social in that regard. Again, Perma-virgin lungs, but Biotics Edition this time.

Marti I think would have the highest weed tolerance in theory just through sheer mental fortitude but I don't think she'd really care for it. She's the team leader and kind of a hardass and y'know, has some trauma stuff that she wouldn't really want to mix with weed. (They all have trauma stuff that probably wouldn't mix well with weed but moving on.)

Seye could have decent tolerance but he's definitely one of those "My body is a temple" guys and wouldn't be into it.

Samir has a remarkable alcohol tolerance (good for all those James Bond-y cocktails) but weed knocks him flat on his ass and he's too much of a workaholic to be into that.

Rajeev would have a higher tolerance than Samir but Reinhardt says 'Crusaders say NO to drugs' so he wouldn't smoke weed.

Faustine says she doesn't smoke weed because it's "unseemly" but the real reason is she's kind of freaked out about what effects weed might have on her neuroprosthetics. (Spoiler alert: It actually wouldn't really affect them at all and it might help with some pain management but... yeah she's too uptight for it)

Kaoru (they/he, 18) is the SHSL Daredevil. as u would expect from a lovechild from a guy that has all the talents and another guy who has luck cycles. Yes, they do have the ability to get new clothes. will they? no. They enjoy fighting sharks and annoying their little sister to death. As a sibling should. They zone out a lot and are basically an older sibling to all the other kids on Jabberwock island, considering he is.. kinda the oldest. Sometimes they have to ask people to repeat themselves multiple times because they just. Zone out about daredevil/adrenaline junky fantasies in their head and their auditory processing is... not so good. But that’s okay, though he is sort of embarassed about it. Sometimes he can have a bit of a creepy demeanor because of his thing with zoning out??? But they really are a nice guy if you get to know them! Also if you ask them a question be ready to literally HEAR the AOL startup noise as they try to figure out what you said and then think of an answer. (Mans has 2 do logic dive anytime he answers a question :pensive_cowboy: tragic.) They have probably almost given Hajime a heart attack over 50 times by now.

Riye (she/her, 16) is the SHSL ???. I’m not sure if i should like. reveal her ultimate but i think it’d be funny if i revealed it over time. which i know will eventually just fizzle out when my hyperfocus dies KJLFHA.SKDJFLKAJF. She’s narcoleptic and because of that she has a parasomnia (keep in mind i’ve not done... a ton of research on this so please tell me if i’m wrong or anything!!). She sleepwalks sometimes and had a nightmare so bad that when she woke up she thought she was still dreaming and scratched Nagito. Did i mention she gets frequent nightmares??? yeah, homegirl is NOT having a good time. When she was younger and still had the hope of being an ultimate (yeah, she doesn’t know she’s an ultimate), she would do a lot of research on what ultimate she could have and has a lot of just nifty little talents from it. She enjoys reading in the library a lot and would always make Nagito (or Hajime, if Nagito wasn’t there.) read her a bedtime story until she turned 13 and deemed it “cringe” to be read to before bed. (But sometimes.....sometimes it’s okay and not cringe if she’s having a rough night or had a really bad nightmare). She also taught herself piano! It calms her down a lot. She also doesn’t really ever.... get angry at people?? Sort of weird. The only person she ever gets angry at is Kaoru because he annoys her to tears. Also don’t make her cry....do NOT make her cry. Consequences will be had.

Since being able to play ffxiv, I ended up making my hosie fankids because I Am Weak to character creation lol

But also since I created my hosie fankids here, it got me thinking about what jobs Hope and Josie would have (along with the kids too). So I'm going to put my musings here under the read more if anyone is interested lol

Additionally, the jobs I'll be writing below for the kids are the jobs I will be giving them in the game once I get to unlock it (they're currently in their base class right now and I gotta lvl them up to 30 and do some quests before that)

Hope, even though she's a tribrid, I decided that she would have Dragoon as her job. I also did play around with the idea that her second job would be Red Mage since they use both magic and melee, but I definitely prefer the idea of her as a Dragoon way more. I mean, think about it, Hope with her lance/spear, jumping at great heights, and then plummeting down on her enemies to land hits? Hot.

For Josie, I was stumped between Black Mage or Blue Mage. Black Mage because that would be the obvious choice since it's a magic class. But Blue Mage was also appealing since Blue Mages--from what I've read--mimics the abilities of their enemies, and that felt really fitting since Josie is a Siphoner. However, I decided to stick with putting her as a Black Mage instead. It just felt better to me.

For the kids:

Lana is the first born between Hope and Josie and is a Tribrid like Hope, so my thought process for what job Lana would be is the same as Hope. I just think them being Dragoons is neat and totally not because I am biased lol (okay maybe I'm a little biased, but you cannot tell me Dragoons like Fang from ff13, Aranea from ff15, or even Dion from ff16 aren't badass as hell). Currently her base class is Lancer.

Hayley never inherited the magic genes and is a werewolf. So for her, I picked Monk for her job. She's a tough fighter and is always the one to rush into the front lines. Plus, with the training she got from Hope, Hayley is one powerful opponent. Plus, she has a mean right hook lol. So Monk made perfect sense for me when I chose her job. Currently her base class is Pugilist.

Jay was the same as Josie. Debated between Black Mage or Blue Mage, but I ultimately went with Black Mage foe him. I did think about picking a melee job for him since Jay is also an exceptional fighter when not using/relying on magic. But in the end, I decided to stick to my gut and keep him as a Black Mage. Currently his base class is Thaumaturge.

Leo is the last of my Hosie fankids! He was adopted by Hope and Josie after they found him scared and alone in an alley around Mystic Falls. He's also the only human in a family of supernaturals. He always felt like he's missing out in all the cool things because he's only human. Leo ends up learning about magic and can only create potions that don't require him to use magic or spells, only dumping and mixing ingredients and that's it. So anyways, I decided that with that logic, his job woukd be Scholar. As well as Summoner. Scholar because it would be the closest thing I'd think would fit with what he wants to achieve. And Summoner because I just think it'd be neat for him to be able to summon creatures. Plus, I honestly feel like Leo is just that personable to the point where he'd be befriending all sort of creatures (and giving Hope and Josie mild heart attacks when Leo comes home with a hell hound or something lmao). Currently his base class is Arcanist.

Edit: WAIT I NEED TO ADD ONE MORE THING FOR LEO! I think he'd also be great as an Astrologian as well!!!!!!! I mean I think that job fits pretty well, maybe more so than Summoner if I'm being honest.

Oh! And because Leo is adopted, I chose to give him a different race than the other three in the game. Lana, Hayley, and Jay are all Hyur and Midlander clan. When I was creating Leo, I originally wanted him to be an Au Ra Raen, but the shortest i could go for height was like. 5'7" or something? So I picked Miqo'te Seekers of the Sun instead and then I had a realization: Leo = Lion = Cats = Miqo'te. Unintentional Galaxy Brain lmaooo

Okay so awhile ago I made an extra fankid for my favorite Fire Emblem Fate self insert marriage (Corrin and Laslow/Inigo) and now I felt like make one based of my second favorite self instert marriage, Corrin and Saizo. 

To be fair I had come up with this character a long time ago based of a dream I had back when fates was still relevant. I found my rambley notes about this dream on my macbook and I don’t wanna copy and paste them because they describe weirdly graphic details of Corrin having a stillborn child and I just don’t feel comfortable sharing that. If I change my mind I’ll add an edit with a trigger warning but also the whole thing makes no sense anyway and I wonder what fucking headspace I was in when I had that dream. 

Now that I think about it making a Picrew of a still born baby Corrin/I had in a dream... but I already made it so let’s just role with it none of my mutuals are very active on this site anyway. (Also here is the picrew)

This is Suzume. What does she have Corrins dragon horn? Honestly it just looks cool. Because of her name meaning Sparrow I could see her riding that weird bird thing in birthright (that’s also why I added feathers to this picture). She looks cheery enough. I could see Saizo not knowning how to raise a daughter so like he never says no to her so maybe she’s a bit spoiled, espically since she is the hypothetical baby of this family. I don’t have any other ideas for this kid since Saizo is my birthright husband and I guess in my mind Revelations is the “true endgame” and in my endgame I am Inigo loving trash so whoops sorry Saizo.
